Regional Silk Technological Research Station under Central Silk Technological Research Institute, Central Silk Board, Khanapara, Guwahati is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Master Weavers/Reelers. The Directorate of Sericulture, Assam is holding a walk-in interview for selection of the said posts Master to be engaged in the Common Facility Centres/Reeling units of Assam on contractual basis.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualifications: Minimum educational qualification for the Assam Sericulture Master Weavers/Reelers post is 8th pass. Candidates must be 8th class passed and above.
• Experience: 2-3 years in Silk reeling, weaving and wet processing etc. with teaching skill to demonstrate above activities.
• Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidates should 21 years.
• Salary: Rs. 21,000 per month

Selection Process

The selection process of Assam Sericulture recruitment will be mainly interview basic. Candidates shall be selected for the post of Weavers/Reelers by the Selection Committee based on educational qualification, practical test, interview prior experience in the respective field.
