General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course
The full form of GNM is General Nursing and Midwifery. General nursing is a branch of nursing that deals with the care of patients in all settings. Midwifery is a branch of nursing with the care of women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. This is a 3-year and 6-month diploma course. Candidates must have passed 12th in the science stream to be admission to the GNM course. GNM 1st year students must have completed clinical duty and home visits for form fillup and must conduct health education in the community.
