Educational Institutes:
- Students with domicile of the North Eastern Region.
- The students must be 12th passed or equivalent examination from any board of North Eastern Region. This includes the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) within NER only, Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), and have secured admission in general degree courses, technical and professional courses including medical and paramedical courses.

- Only 1st year or 1st-semester students are eligible for this scheme.
Family Income
The parents of students must have an annual income of not more than Rs. 4.5 lakhs.
